DTN's Todd Hultman reports a broadly bearish week for grains as of Thursday's close: December soybean meal hit a new 2018 low, December corn fell 17 3/4 cents, November soybeans fell 38 3/4 cents and December Chicago wheat fell 38 cents. He notes noncommercial traders were net long corn and wheat before the drop.
Broad liquidation on expectations of two large U.S. harvests points to continued pressure on corn, soybean and meal prices heading into harvest.
