DTN's National Soybean Index is near its lowest level in 10 years, pressured by expectations of a record U.S. soybean harvest and the lack of Chinese buying. The corn index fell 22 cents in August on expectations of a large harvest, and the HRW wheat index was down 31 cents in August.
DTN says the trend is clearly down.
Expected record U.S. supplies and weak Chinese demand keep soybean and meal prices under pressure, which lowers feed ingredient costs.
