DTN's weekly survey put average domestic DDG spot prices at $134 per ton, up $1 from two weeks earlier, for the week ended October 25. Ethanol plant output rose to 1.024 million bpd, and lower corn and soymeal futures kept prices range-bound.
DDG is priced at about 104% of corn and 44% of soymeal on a protein-cost basis, so it stays competitive for feed buyers. Ample ethanol output keeps supply sufficient and prices flat.
