The Organic Consumers Association reported that Maseca corn flour samples tested positive for glyphosate and some samples tested as high as 94 percent GMO. The group is campaigning for consumers to pressure Gruma, the Maseca owner, over its sourcing.
The campaign is consumer advocacy with no direct supply or demand shift, so it has little effect on corn or meal prices.
