Yara International said farmers are financially justified in cutting fertilizer use after soaring prices, and its Q1 deliveries fell 11% to 6.79m tonnes. Its trials show optimal nitrogen application rates about 10% lower than two years earlier.
Yara also cited a slight decline in its winter wheat yield estimate.
