Feedstuffs published its weekly cash market comparison for November 7, 2018, listing bids for feed ingredients in Chicago, Kansas City, Memphis, Minneapolis and Los Angeles. Chicago corn processor bids rose to $3.565/bu from $3.435 a week earlier, and soybean meal Decatur bids rose slightly to $311/ton.
Higher corn and soybean meal bids raise near-term feed input costs for buyers, though prices remain well below year-ago levels for corn. This is routine price reporting with no new cause identified.
