DTN's retail survey shows all eight tracked fertilizer prices rose in the first week of November. Urea climbed $19 to $408 per ton, anhydrous ammonia rose $17 to $505, and DAP and MAP each gained $5.
Potash rose $2 to $366.
Retail fertilizer increases of this size raise fall application costs for corn and soybean growers. The continued upward trend supports higher nitrogen and phosphate prices into spring planting.
