Turkmenistan's foreign minister is visiting Pakistan to push the TAPI gas pipeline, whose Pakistan section has not started despite a planned May 2018 start. A host-country agreement for Pakistan is reportedly expected, and a TAPI steering committee meeting is set for March 27 in Ashgabat.
The pipeline could add future natural gas supply in South Asia, but construction is delayed and the effect on feed commodity prices is indirect and small.
