Ukrainian sunflower oil prices rose after palm and soybean oil gained, with Malaysian palm futures up 1.9% on the biggest daily gain since January. Crude oil rose about 3% to $69.8 a barrel and Chicago soybean oil firmed on US-China trade hopes.
Black Sea sunflower oil offers rose to $655-660 per ton FOB.
Higher crude and palm oil prices lift vegetable oil values across origins, supporting sunflower oil and reducing its discount to palm. Feed buyers should expect firmer oil-based feed ingredient costs in the near term.
