The DTN domestic DDG average spot price rose $2 to $123 per ton for the week ended May 23 across 40 locations. Ethanol plant output rose 20,000 bpd to 1.071 million bpd, the highest of 2019.
DDG's value relative to corn stood at 88.36%, below the five-year average.
Stronger corn and soymeal prices from delayed planting are providing modest support to DDG, and rising ethanol output adds supply that limits how far DDG can climb.
