FOB ethanol plant DDGS rose to $148.24 per metric ton this week despite softer soymeal and cash corn near $4.28 per bushel. The DDGS-to-corn ratio was 88 percent, below the two-year average of 107 percent, with modest Southeast Asian buying interest.
DDGS priced below its historical ratio to corn makes it relatively cheap feed, which can support demand from feed buyers and export buyers in Southeast Asia.
