Statistics Canada reported June canola crush at 733,698 metric tons, the lowest in three months and slightly below June 2018. Year-to-date crush is 8.441 million tons, up just 0.1% from the prior crop year, with the industry running at or near capacity.
Crush is tracking toward AAFC's 9.25 million ton target, which requires about 810,000 tons in July, so meal supply will stay firm if processors rebound as usual.
