Linde announced on August 8 the startup of a gas production facility serving Evonik's second methionine complex in Singapore. The plant supplies methane, hydrogen and carbon dioxide and complements an existing facility.
The startup supports Evonik's DL-methionine output, a feed additive, but the direct effect on feed prices is small.
