Linde has started up a new gas production plant supplying methane, hydrogen and carbon dioxide to Evonik's second methionine complex on Jurong Island in Singapore. The existing plant has supplied Evonik's first complex since 2014.
The plant supports operation of an additional DL-methionine complex, a feed additive, but its effect on feed prices is limited and it is an industrial gas supply story.
