Norwegian fish landings destined for reduction through week 33 totaled 531,611 tonnes, down 19% year on year, at an average price of NOK 2.79/kg. Chinese fishmeal port inventories stood at 277,000 tonnes, and FAQ and SD fishmeal prices eased slightly in week 33.
Lower Norwegian reduction catches and high Chinese stocks cross in opposite directions, but the slight price softening points to ample near-term supply and weaker fishmeal prices.
