Morocco's OCP reported first-half 2019 sales revenue of MAD 27.582 billion, up 4% year on year. Higher output and phosphoric acid prices offset lower rock and fertilizer volumes and falling fertilizer prices.
OCP also became the main phosphoric acid exporter to Asia.
The results show that phosphate prices fell for fertilizers while the world's largest phosphate exporter kept its share, which points to continued pressure on finished-product prices. The report adds little new supply information.
