Rabobank's latest poultry report says China, Brazil and Mexico are the only major regions where poultry prices are performing relatively well, while most other regions face oversupply. The bank expects only limited short-term upside from ASF-driven demand substitution, since China buys little poultry except dark meat cuts.
Global oversupply of poultry, especially breast meat, caps prices and weighs on broiler margins, which tempers feed demand growth. Only dark-meat exporters with China access are likely to see better prices.
