The U.S. Grains Council's September 12 DDGS report said cash corn rose after futures rallied 15 cents, and DDGS FOB ethanol plants gained $1.50/MT on firm Kansas City soymeal. DDGS was priced at 106% of corn, equal to the three-year average, and Southeast Asia container prices rose $3/MT to $235.
DDGS values tracked higher corn and soymeal, supporting feed costs for buyers. The 106% corn ratio at the three-year average suggests no strong premium or discount.
