DTN retail survey data show average US fertilizer prices fell for a sixth consecutive week in the third week of September 2019. DAP averaged $480/ton, urea $404/ton, potash $384/ton and anhydrous $509/ton, with none of the eight major products falling 5% or more.
Lower retail fertilizer costs reduce grain production costs but have little direct effect on feed commodity prices in the near term. The trend is a routine price update.
