Grain futures were higher in early Chicago Board of Trade trading on August 29, 2019, with September wheat up 0.80 cent to $4.7220 a bushel, September corn up 7.40 cents to $3.6660, and September soybeans up 11.80 cents to $8.5720. Livestock was mixed, with cattle lower and October lean hogs higher.
This is a routine price wrap with no new fundamental cause, so it gives little direction for feed costs beyond confirming modest gains in grains.

Moves of each commodity's benchmark from the last close before the event. Historical reads pool past events of the same kind; they describe what happened, not what will. Not investment advice.
