Kemin Industries launched two new ruminant nutrition product ranges, KESSENT, a rumen-protected methionine, and CholiGEM, a choline product, both available from January 2020. The company said the launch completes its Ruminant Essentialities portfolio and makes it the only provider of both rumen-protected methionine and lysine for the EMENA region.
This is a product launch from a single supplier with no immediate supply shock, so it has little direct effect on feed ingredient prices. It may modestly affect competition in rumen-protected amino acid supply from 2020.
