Ballance Agri-Nutrients has launched SurePhos, a low-solubility superphosphate product in New Zealand, which it says can cut phosphate losses by up to 75%. The company expects farmer demand to exceed supply as the product replaces traditional superphosphate.
This is a product launch in a single domestic market and does not meaningfully change global phosphate supply or demand. It has little direct effect on feed phosphate prices.
