Evonik announced on October 7, 2019 that it will raise net prices of MetAMINO feed-grade DL-methionine 99% by up to 9% globally, effective immediately. The company said all existing contracts and supply agreements will be honored.
A global price increase of up to 9% from the world's largest methionine producer tightens feed-grade methionine costs for buyers. Other producers may follow, which would support prices across the amino acid complex.
