Corn shipments through Ukrainian seaports tripled to 66 thousand tons in the week of September 21-27. Total staple grain shipments were 984 thousand tons, down 5% from the previous week, with wheat exports slightly lower at 874 thousand tons.
Corn export volumes are still small in absolute terms, so the effect on global corn prices is limited, though the rebound adds some Black Sea supply.
After 480 past neutral trade events, Corn moved a median +0.2% over 5 sessions (54% higher; middle half -1.1% to +1.6%), and +0.7% over 20.
