The European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1964 on 26 November 2019, re-authorising four L-lysine products as feed additives for all animal species. Norway's government page notes the products are made with microorganisms, some of them genetically modified, and are under EEA review.
Re-authorisation keeps EU lysine feed additive supply legally available, removing a regulatory risk for the amino acid market.
