Tunisia's El Mdhilla 2 triple superphosphate plant expansion is set to start in Q1 2020, nearly doubling output to 900,000 tons. The plant needs about 1 million tons of wet and dry phosphate per year.
Added TSP supply from Tunisia will increase phosphate rock demand, though the effect on global TSP prices is modest given the market is already oversupplied.
