The USDA weekly feedstuff report for October 19 to 23, 2026 lists processor prices for cottonseed meal, canola meal, distillers dried grains and corn gluten feed. Cottonseed meal averaged $322.50 per ton against $181.00 a year earlier, and DDGS ranged widely by region.
Year-over-year meal and by-product prices are much higher, which raises the cost of protein alternatives for feed buyers.
