ICE canola futures traded lower on Wednesday, with November contracts at C$772.00 per tonne, down C$9.00. Losses in vegetable oils, including soy complex, palm oil and rapeseed, weighed on canola, and AAFC trimmed its 2026-27 carryover projection by 11,000 tonnes to 1.97 million tonnes.
Lower vegetable oil values and weaker canola futures reduce canola meal and oil prices, while a modest carryover trim offers limited support.
