Argus has launched Argus Phosphates Daily, moving its key phosphate price assessments to daily frequency, with the first report published on 16 March 2020. The assessed benchmarks include DAP fob China, DAP cfr India, MAP cfr Brazil and DAP and MAP barges fob New Orleans.
More frequent price assessments improve transparency for phosphate contracts and formula pricing but do not themselves change supply or demand for DAP or MAP.
