Ukrainian sunflower seed purchase prices fell by 800-1000 UAH per tonne to 9400-9800 UAH after the drop in vegetable oil prices, while Ukrainian sunflower oil bids fell to $650-660/MT FOB. Covid-19 panic had driven sharp declines in equities and Brent crude, which fell 4.3% to $34.3 per barrel.
Lower crude and vegetable oil prices reduce sunflower oil export values and push down seed bids, weakening sunflower meal and oil supply prices in the Black Sea.
