DTN reported average domestic DDG offers at $143 per ton for the week ended May 21, down $5 from the prior week. DDG was priced at 126% of corn value and 50.6% of soybean meal value, and demand was described as weak though some feeders are returning to DDG.
Lower DDG prices versus soymeal and corn make DDG a cheaper protein option, which may gradually lift feed demand and limit further downside in DDG values.
