ADM Animal Nutrition launched NutriPass L, an encapsulated lysine product designed to be rumen-stable and available to cows. The company says the product delivers metabolizable lysine more consistently than comparable products.
The product gives dairy and beef nutritionists a protected lysine option that could replace some higher-cost protein ingredients. Its effect on lysine or protein prices is small at launch.
