Boston Market filed a federal lawsuit in Illinois alleging that major broiler producers, including Tyson, Pilgrim's Pride and Perdue, conspired to fix broiler prices from 2008 to 2017. The suit follows a June grand jury indictment of poultry executives in Denver.
The lawsuit is legal fallout from alleged price-fixing and does not change current broiler supply or demand. Its effect on feed demand is indirect and limited.
