CUPE 375 announced a four-day strike at two Termont container terminals at the Port of Montreal, running August 3 to August 7. The announcement follows a prior four-day strike and a 24-hour checkers' walkout, with negotiations having collapsed.
Further strikes at Montreal extend container delays and freight uncertainty for feed importers, though grain and liquid bulk have so far been spared.
