Chicago Mercantile Exchange milk futures ended the week mostly higher as traders corrected oversold positions, while cash dairy trade was mostly lower. Blocks fell to $1.8275 and barrels to $1.43, while August Class III was unchanged at $19.76.
USDA put the July all-milk price at $20.50/cwt, up $2.40 on the month.
Mixed cash and futures moves signal a choppy dairy market with no clear direction, so feed buyers should expect limited price change in milk-linked contracts in the near term.
