Kazakhstan increased sunflower meal exports to 64 thousand tons over the first 10 months of the 2019-2020 marketing year, roughly double year on year. Uzbekistan, the key importer, nearly tripled its purchases to 30 thousand tons, while shipments to China rose almost sixfold to 16 thousand tons.
