DDGS prices at ethanol plants rose $2/MT this week as cattle feeders increased fall buying interest. Rail-delivered DDGS gained $6-7/MT, and Kansas City soymeal rose $4.30/MT.
Export offers also firmed, with Barge CIF NOLA up $1-2/MT and FOB Gulf up $4-5/MT.
Stronger domestic feed demand is tightening near-term DDGS supplies, which supports prices across feed markets. Higher soymeal values also lend support to the DDGS complex.
