IFFO president Anne Mette Baek said marine ingredient fishing performance in June 2020 was in line with the 2011-2019 average. IFFO expects 2020 global supply slightly above 2019, at just under five million tonnes of fishmeal and about one million tonnes of fish oil.
Stable Peruvian landings and a supply outlook slightly above 2019 suggest adequate fishmeal availability, which limits upside pressure on prices for feed buyers.
