The USITC voted unanimously to continue antidumping investigations on methionine from France, Japan, and Spain. The Department of Commerce will issue preliminary antidumping determinations on or about January 5, 2021.
Continuing the investigations keeps the threat of antidumping duties on methionine imports alive, which would support US methionine prices if duties are later imposed.
