U.S. natural gas futures fell about 2% on Monday, September 28, the last day of the October contract, which settled at $2.101/MMBtu. The decline came amid a continued supply surplus and easing Atlantic storm threats, despite projected higher LNG exports.
November futures, the new front month, were roughly flat at $2.795.
