CnAgri reported that China's average vegetable oil prices rose in August, with soybean oil up to 6,893 RMB/MT from 6,306, palm oil up to 6,267 from 5,900, and rapeseed oil up to 9,210 from 9,090. Soybean meal and rapeseed meal prices fell over the same period.
Higher Chinese vegetable oil prices support oilseed crush margins and palm and soy oil values, while lower meal prices weaken protein meal values for feed buyers.
