Belarus reduced its potash fertilizer exports by 0.9% year on year in January-August 2020, to 1.409 million tonnes of 100% potash content, according to Belstat. Brazil, China and India were the largest buyers, and export value fell 22.34% year on year.
Weaker Belarusian export values point to soft global potash pricing, which keeps fertilizer costs for crop producers low.
