China's Ministry of Commerce terminated its antidumping investigation into methionine imports from Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. The applicant, Ningxia Unisplendour Tianhua Methionine, withdrew its request, and the probe began in April 2019.
Ending the probe without duties leaves imported methionine competing freely in China, which keeps pressure on feed-grade amino acid prices.
