Ukrainian sunflower seed prices, which had hit a record 19,500-20,000 UAH/t, began to fall after vegetable oil markets dropped. Ukrainian sunflower oil fell to 1140-1160 USD/t FOB, while Malaysian palm oil lost 2.4% over the week on weaker exports.
Lower palm and soybean oil futures are pulling sunflower oil and seed values down from their peak. Buyers of vegetable oil-based feed inputs may see some relief in the short term.
