Class IV milk price rebounded $1.58 per cwt in September to $18.94, while Class III fell 60 cents to $16.04 and Class II dropped $1.11 to $17.60. The Class I base price for September settled at $17.04, down $1.72 from August.
Divergence between Class III and Class IV reflects weak cheese and strong nonfat dry milk demand, so dairy-based feed ingredient values are split by product.
