The European Food Safety Authority says HPAI is spreading rapidly across Europe and is highly likely to reach unaffected countries. More than 300 cases have been reported in wild birds and some kept poultry in eight or more countries.
The update follows an earlier warning about migration routes from Russia and Kazakhstan.
Outbreaks in poultry can cut flock sizes and reduce demand for feed in Europe. Reduced demand for feed ingredients is mildly bearish for European feed demand.
