Bird flu outbreaks continue in Europe, with Denmark reporting its first HPAI case on a commercial farm, halting poultry and egg exports to certain non-EU countries for at least three months. Belgium found infected birds on its coast, and Japan reported a ninth outbreak with 93,500 chickens to be culled.
Japan had already culled over 1.3 million chickens earlier in November.
Export halts from Denmark and culls in Japan reduce poultry trade flows and domestic supply, which tends to support chicken prices and cut feed demand from affected producers.
