Belarus cut its potash fertilizer exports by 8.7% year on year in January-October 2020, to 292,200 tonnes of nutrient content. Export value fell 11.3% to $134.7 million, and the average export price dropped 18.4% to $460.9 per tonne due to an unfavorable global potash price environment.
Lower Belarusian export volumes and prices reflect weak global potash pricing, a bearish signal for fertilizer costs in the near term.
