Chick-fil-A filed an antitrust suit against 17 chicken producers, including Tyson Foods, Perdue Farms, Pilgrim's Pride and Sanderson Farms. The suit alleges the producers coordinated bidding and pricing information to keep poultry prices artificially high.
The litigation could affect poultry pricing practices, but it does not add a new supply or demand shock to chicken markets in the near term.
