METEX has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition Europe, the largest European producer of fermentation-based amino acids for animal nutrition, based in Amiens, France. AANE's projected turnover for fiscal 2020/2021 is above €200m.
The deal is subject to employee consultation and is expected to close in the coming weeks.
